RTITB is excited to announce the launch of the MyRTITB TrainingFriend PRO app, the first training application for Android tablets to be released from an accrediting body.
We’re looking to change the future of materials handling equipment training and assessment with an app which will make training completely paperless for RTITB training organisations and employers. Designed to work on 7” tablets, with the capacity to work both on and offline, Instructors will benefit from Instructor to candidate tablet communication which ensure compliance, speed and efficiency whilst delivering quality RTITB training.
No longer will accredited organisations need to print test papers, records of training, registration forms or any other form of paper documentation as everything is captured and stored through the app.

In addition to offering a paperless solution, the app boasts time-saving features to support the demands of businesses and instructors. No longer will there be a need to create assessment papers ahead of a course and during training, the app can automatically score multiple choice questions and seamlessly calculate practical test score and results.
Errors needn’t be a problem now as pre-populated data removes the need to manually retype data, eradicating typos and other issues which may affect the processing of your courses, improving accuracy of your data. With a simple tap of the tablet, send the information electronically onto the NORS extranet. This promises to save businesses money as the need to re-do paperwork is eradicated and the costs associated with paying a member of staff to complete the data entry and administration are dramatically cut.
In addition to the cost and time savings, the app will ensure that all accredited organisations remain compliant as all required fields for documentation and data are included, including candidate details, course details, health declarations, GDPR data consent and candidate signatures. Course evidence, including candidate photographs can also be captured using the built-in camera on the tablet. Preparation for audits is also made easy with all data accessible through the app.
