Vehicle Banksman
The Vehicle Banksman course (also called reversing assistant) is designed to eliminate preventable crush injuries in the workplace.
The course will protect your business by preventing injuries and fines caused by vehicle movements.
The course covers the following:
- What’s the problem?
- Your workplace
- Safe system of work – the operating environment
- Reversing
- Banksman signals
- Driver’s field of vision
- Communication
- Potential hazards
- Public highway banksman awareness
The course is assessed at the end and candidates are required to complete a theory test and a practical test in order to successfully pass and obtain a certificate of completion. There is a maximum of 5 people allowed on this 1 day course and it can be delivered on your premises or at our Instructor Academy in Telford, Shropshire (near Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton).
The course is £703+VAT when delivered at the RTITB Instructor Academy or £625+VAT, plus instructor travel and subsistence when delivered on your premises.
