The Accrediting Bodies Association for Workplace Transport (ABA) has released an updated Basic Operating Skills Test for Medium and High Level Order Pickers (ABA categories: E1, E2), which has taken into account feedback from the industry following the release of version 1.
The updated test can be used from now, and will be mandatory for all Medium and High Level Order Picker operator testing from 1st April 2021.
RTITB strongly encourages instructors, training teams and organisations delivering or considering delivering Medium and High Order Picker training to read the new test in detail to ensure you are aware of the changes ahead of 1st April 2021.
From now until 31st March 2021, all Medium and High Level Order Picker Operator training records must include a note of the testing standard used.
RTITB will be releasing an updated LTG13 Order Picker Lift Truck Trainers’ Guide in early March 2021 which will include updated training content and include the new testing standards. You can pre-order your copy from 17th February by visiting the RTITB Shop.
