This award honours a company’s internal/in-house training team, regardless of size. We will reward the team that has demonstrated exceptional achievements. And can show how they have contributed to the safety of their company operations.

This award recognises excellence in delivering training commercially. This category is seeking training providers that have made an outstanding contribution to industry safety. Whether that is materials handling equipment or Driver CPC training.

Instructors play an important role in shaping the skills and knowledge of professionals in the material handling equipment and transport industry. This award recognises the Instructor who demonstrates excellence in training delivery. Someone who creates a fair and engaging learning environment. And is a source of pride for our industry.

Director, Public Affairs Group
A public affairs professional with over 20 years’ experience supporting trade associations and businesses to deliver their policy and public affairs strategies. Representing the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA), the dedicated trade association for the UK’s vital warehousing sector which represents 1,000 member companies who together operate around 200 million square feet of warehousing and distribution space across thousands of locations.
David Goss
Technical Director
David Goss is the Technical Director of the UK Material Handling Association. Formed by the merger of BITA and the FLTA, UKMHA is the UK’s trade association for manufacturers and distributors of industrial trucks and associated services and equipment.
In addition to being the Chair of the European standardisation committee for industrial truck safety, David is also the President of the British Materials Handling Federation.
He holds an MSc from Nottingham University, is a member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology, and a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
