We are thrilled to announce that RTITB has been shortlisted for the West Midlands Business of the Year Awards 2024! This year, we are honoured to be recognised in two categories: International Trade and Medium Business.
The West Midlands Business of the Year Awards is an annual event. It celebrates the outstanding achievements of businesses across the region. The awards are organised by TheBusinessDesk.com. They celebrate companies that are innovating, disrupting, and thriving. A panel of expert business leaders will judge the awards. This will involve a comprehensive review of our entries against business peers in the West Midlands.
Our Nominations
- International Trade – Being shortlisted in the International Trade category highlights our commitment to expanding our safety standards in other regions. For example, our investment into a dedicated RTITB Middle East office in Oman in 2024.
From here, RTITB is supporting operations with heavy and light goods vehicles, lifting equipment operations, buses and coaches, airside ground support equipment, and fleets carrying dangerous goods.
RTITB is also working with OPAL (Oman Energy Association) to deliver the Oman National Occupational Standard Project for Lifting Operations Training and Skill Certification assessment scheme. RTITB is also a recognised awarding body for heavy/lifting equipment training by the Bahrain Ministry of Labor.
- Medium Business – In the Medium Business category, our nomination reflects our consistent growth, innovation, and excellence. It is a testament to our market leading position in lift truck Accreditation, our continued business growth, and extremely positive customer feedback.
It also recognises our ongoing investments into modernising training. With solutions like RTITB TrainingFriend, eLearning and eTruck UK, and the Syndesi System. All while providing our team with a great place to work.
The West Midlands Business of the Year Awards
We will find out if we are a winner at the West Midlands Business of the Year Awards evening in Birmingham on 13th February, 2025. We are eagerly looking forward to the result – stay tuned for updates!
Thanks to our partners and team members for their support and contribution. This is what has helped us to become finalists. Regardless of the result, we are incredibly proud of what we have all worked together to achieve. Especially when it comes to safety and saving lives in workplace transport operations.
