RTITB is pleased to announce Abdullah Al Busaidi as its new Regional Manager for the Middle East. This forms part of RTITB’s strategy to expand its presence in the region and grow the number of RTITB partners.
In his new role, Al Busaidi will work closely with regional stakeholders, training providers and industry representatives.
“My goal is to improve safety across all types of workplace transport operations through strategic growth, and best practice” says Abdullah Al Busaidi. “I want to raise awareness of RTITB’s many services and solutions. This will help increase both safety and productivity across various types of workplace transport operations.”
Based in Oman, Al Busaidi joins RTITB as a knowledgeable and experienced leader, coach, and training practitioner. He has worked in relevant industries for more than two decades. These include oil and gas, logistics, and aviation.
“RTITB has had a presence in the Middle East for a decade,” says Laura Nelson, Managing Director for RTITB. “With a dedicated Regional Manager, we hope to do even more to raise standards and safety in workplace transport operations in the Middle East, which will result in increased efficiency, and ultimately help save lives.”
RTITB is already the region’s leading workplace transport and lifting equipment training accrediting body. More than 7000 people every year already attend RTITB training in the Middle East. These include courses to support lifting operations, such as operator training for overhead cranes, lift trucks, as well as slinger signaller courses.
