The Accrediting Bodies Association for Workplace Transport (ABA) has released a new Basic Operating Skills Test for Medium and High Level Order Pickers (ABA categories: E1, E2).
The new test can be used from 1st December 2020, and will be mandatory for all Medium and High Level Order Picker operator testing from 1st April 2021.
RTITB strongly encourages instructors, training teams and organisations delivering or considering delivering Medium and High Order Picker training to read the new test in detail to ensure you are aware of the changes ahead of 1st April 2021.
From 1st December 2020 to 31st March 2021, all Medium and High Level Order Picker Operator training records must include a note of the testing standard used.
RTITB will be releasing an updated LTG13 Order Picker Lift Truck Trainers’ Guide in early March 2021 which will help you comply with PUWER, and will give you comprehensive instructions for delivering Novice, Existing, Conversion and Refresher, medium and high level order picker operator training.
