James Cropper
Our relationship with RTITB has just got better and better over the years as they have introduced new changes such as the National Operator Registration Scheme (NORS). Having all our staff trained to an Accredited Standard presents huge benefits to our company and in my opinion, RTITB standards are best suited to our type of industry.

Safety at Work is at the heart of the James Cropper company values and imperative to the work we do. All the RTITB staff have a very friendly manner, which I like. It’s a very personable organisation – I have met the team at various events and the telephone support is excellent. I have never had a bad experience with RTITB.”

Benefits for James Cropper:
- RTITB training helps to reduce cost through minimising potential accident related insurance claims or lawsuits, and damage to stock (due to a high standard of driving)
- As an employer, James Cropper can check credentials and get information on registered trained operators through NORS (National Operator Registration Scheme) or if a new operator joins the company, James Cropper can check their certificate online to check that their training is in date. This helps to save time and money spent on extra training. In the event of an investigation, the business has independently verified evidence to prove training has been delivered to the required standard
- Operational risk is reduced, while demonstrating a commitment to safety for workplace transport
- The employer can be confident knowing that all regulations (PUWER/ACOP/HSE L117/etc.) are adhered to
- Margins are increased thanks partly to reduced damages to pallets, racking, lift trucks and infrastructure, as well as less product wastage and reduced insurance premiums
